LookBook App
Clarks’ first ever App to allow customers to see a sneak peak and eventually buy products from a season. A requested by the newly appointed Global Brand Director as a way to create excitement beyond the standard webpages.
I was only involved with the first release of the app, after that I continued with Pangaea. as this was a first attempt by Clarks the brief was to keep it simple, with not much backend coding needed and for a way in the end for the user to buy the product.
The outcome was to make it feel high end and sleek. The user would open the app, there would be a few screens that were there to hide it all loading and then a Gender choice would appear. upon choosing a product list would then appear. Selecting a product would take the user through a couple animations and videos to give some insight to that product to eventually landing on a product page. The future goal was to be able to purchase from this end page but for now it was a tap to opening the website to where the user could then purchase it.
The title for this ‘season’ was Black Edit and was all about the new black shoes for men and women that was coming.
