HELLO

My name is Hayden Wilcox,  I’m a UI designer and I come from the South West of England, from a little place called Street in Somerset. I studied at Kingston University. I have travelled far and wide around the world. Freelanced and worked for various companies. I’ve designed and worked on websites, apps, and electric vehicles.

I’m a highly motivated individual with a professional approach to work. Flexibility, team work and commitment are key strengths along with an ability to establish fast and productive working relationships. With efficient and effective project management and planning skills, the ability to manage workloads successfully with a proven track record of delivering results on time, whilst exceeding expectations. Self-confident, assertive and - when appropriate - a proven ability to act upon own initiative.

I enjoy everything about design but particularity it is the fine detail I thrive for, the bit that can define something from being a good design to great design. I also enjoy searching for and looking at the upcoming trends, but also trying things that might be a little different.

Design isn't the only thing I enjoy. I like to socialise with my friends, am a TV and film buff and play a variety of games, from digital to board. I love travelling, seeing art galleries, museums and historical sites. I have an interest in history (friend of the British Museum) and keeping up to date with current affairs. For the last 12 years I have worked at Glastonbury Festival as a qualified campsite steward raising money for a local charity. 2020 will mark my 26th year going to it!
